President Trump has called his first international trip as commander-in-cheif a massive “success.”
And his second-oldest son, Eric Trump, agreed wholeheartedly — and even dismantled their conspiracy theory regarding “collusion with Russia.” He discussed these things with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, starting off with how warmly his father was welcomed around the world and how successful the visit was.
“He did so well. Just the images — when he arrived in Saudi Arabia and the respect they gave him.”
Eric then went on to say that our country received lack of respect around the world during previous administrations.
When mentioning his father’s visits to Israel, who he called “one of our greatest allies,” as well as the Vatican, Eric noted that the reception was just different now. But perhaps, the most ground-shattering statement from Eric came when he called the whole Russian investigation “a hoax:”
“It’s a witch hunt. It’s nonsense. It’s really insane. Listen, there was a political party that got beaten very badly by a man who came out of nowhere, who everybody wrote off, who everybody gave no chance to. They outspent us seven to one, and he won. There’s some pretty disappointed people out there, so they want to further a narrative for their own political agenda.”
Then, Eric dropped a bomb:
“I really believe that they would rather see this country fail than see him succeed.”
