According to new reports, conservative executives with deep pockets are currently putting together a massive new TV network.
And as of right now, some big names are are at the top of their list.
Top commentator Bill O’Reilly is now a free agent, along with Tomi Lahren.
In addition to these two firebrands, Sean Hannity says that Fox News is currently boxing out Bill Shine — and that will be the end of the network.
So is a network anchored by Hannity, Lahren and O’Reilly possible? Yes — it’s more than possible.
Insiders report that rumors are going swirling around regarding Fox News’ shift to the left — and that’s quite obvious with their decision to fire O’Reilly and apply pressure on Bill Shine.
The sources also added that a meeting is going to take place at any time, with two prominent high-powered television executives and some underperforming conservative networks as well as people who have an interest and the ability to fund a new network.
The aim of this whole plan is to put the old “crew” together, as there are a number of conservative powerhouses to pick from that could star on a new network.
The news came and spread fast after the New York Times painted a picture of a Fox News as a network in a changing phase, now that Murdoch’s sons James and Lachlan are slowly starting to take control of everything, aiming to get rid of the anti-politically correct environment and create a “warmer and fuzzier workplace”.
The piece struck fear into the minds of some Fox News’ hardcore conservatives with talk of the sons wanting to rid the company “of the old-guard culture on which their father built his empire” and bringing “a warmer and fuzzier workplace” that would move away from an “anti-politically correct environment.”
“I just don’t see Fox News and Sean having a long relationship. If Sean becomes available, you have 100 percent turnover in primetime and a huge opportunity,” stated a television executive who demanded that his identity to not be made public.
“I’m working on it (the new conservative channel) hot and heavy,” the source said. “It’s live, it’s real.” The new channel could start working within the next 10-10 months according to the executive.
