The refugee crisis is complete and utter chaos — but President Trump plans to sort through the madness to grant one group solace in the United States.
Christian refugees — the individuals who have been persecuted and driven out by Islamic fundamentalists in the Middle East.
President Donald Trump said on Friday that Syrian Christians will be given priority when it comes to applying for refugee status in the United States.
“If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians,” Trump said in an excerpt of an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Late last year, the Obama administration conceded that out of the 12,587 refugees they admitted, 12,486 were Muslims and only 68 were Christians.
It’s about time America reinstated her priorities for freedom-loving religions and groups who do not align with jihadists who terrorize the world.
