Gen. John Kelly Puts The Fear Of God Into NFL Anthem Kneelers… They Won’t Forget This

While White House Chief of Staff and Gen. John Kelly may not be too thrilled about President Donald Trump starting a war with the National Football League, he completely and totally stands with Americans and the commander-in-chief on the issue of football players kneeling during the National Anthem.

He is 100 percent against it.

Lifelong marine Kelly granted CNN a brief interview and absolutely obliterated everyone participating in protests of the flag and the anthem:

“I believe every American, when the national anthem is played, should cover their hearts and think about all the men and women who have been maimed and killed,” Kelly said. “Every American should stand up and think for three lousy minutes.”

Absolutely brutal.

And his wrath is justified as this issue is near and dear to his heard — Kelly’s son, Robert Michael Kelly, was killed in combat in Afghanistan in 2010.

Trump’s conflict with the NFL erupted Friday when the president talked about players who don’t stand during the national anthem.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b***h off the field right now. Out, he’s fired,’” Trump added.

However, despite massive outrage from the left, Trump plowed forward, blasting the league on Twitter:

“If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!” the president tweeted Sunday.
