On Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced a visit to Florida, which has been the primary victim of Hurricane Irma’s wrath.
“I will be traveling to Florida tomorrow to meet with our great Coast Guard, FEMA and many of the brave first responders & others,” Trump said in a tweet.

Many were surprised at this announcement, with people not expecting the president to trek down to Florida so quickly.
However, the timeline is very similar to the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. After the storm devastated Houston, Trump flew out to the Lone Star State in a very timely fashion, meeting with victims and boosting morale.
