President Donald Trump and Melania Trump have officially submitted a statement regarding the condition of Sen. John McCain.

On Wednesday, it was discovered that the Arizona senator had induced a form of brain cancer.

Here’s what the President Trump initially tweeted:

“Melania and I send our thoughts and prayers to Senator McCain, Cindy, and their entire family.”

They then followed up with a short statement from the White House:

“Senator John McCain has always been a fighter. Melania and I send our thoughts and prayers to Senator McCain, Cindy, and their entire family. Get well soon.”
