The pressure is on.
Johnny Depp made a grave error in “joking” about assassinating President Donald Trump — he can pretty much kiss his career goodbye.
“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” Depp asked in reference to the death of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865. “I want to clarify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while and maybe it is time.”
On Friday, backlash was widespread for the famous actor, with the hashtag #FireDepp going mega-viral. Disney, who’s stars him as the main protagonist in the Pirates of the Caribbean, has yet to submit a formal response to the actor’s comments.
Even Donald Trump Jr. chimed in, saying that it’d be hard for Disney not to fire him.
I'd think it would be hard for @Disney to keep him, let's see: #FireDepp Goes VIRAL after 'Trump Assassination' Joke https://t.co/CXOzVl6r6t

Other’s chimed in, with some even posting video of a drunken Depp attacking his former wife, Amber Heard, in a domestic scuffle.

Dear @Disney and @wbpictures
Johnny Depp beats his spouse and discussed assassinating our @POTUS. Do you support this behavior? #FireDepp— Brenden Dilley (@Hublife) June 23, 2017
