Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is continuing to spread the blame — but Democrats are not happy this time.
Clinton, who’s becoming increasingly bitter about her massive defeat in November, has added the Democratic National Committee to her list of reasons she believes she lost.
On Wednesday, in a discussion at the Code Conference in California, she made an extraordinary claim that she “inherited nothing” from the DNC upon winning the nomination.
“I mean it was bankrupt, it was on the verge of insolvency, its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong. I had to inject money into it,” Clinton said.
Then she betrayed her party, saying that then-Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus had a far better ground-game, better technology, and a war-chest worth many millions.
“So Trump becomes the nominee and he is basically handed this tried and true, effective foundation,” she added.
