While Gatlinburg, TN went up in flames, President Obama didn’t issue a word.
Nothing. Nada. Zip.
Remember, our president is supposed to be there for the American people in their hour of need — but the White House was silent.
So President-Elect Donald Trump, being the proactive character he is, released a short and pertinent comment on Twitter about the brutal wildfires that are destroying Tennessee:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the great people of Tennessee during these terrible wildfires. Stay safe!”
