Sen. Elizabeth Warren is about to get some heat thrown her way — from former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling. The avid Trump fan admitted he wants the “honor” of kicking Warren out of her U.S. senate seat.
Jeff Kushner, a conservative radio show host, interviewed Schilling about his interest in launching a bid against the uber-progressive.
“Curt, I take it you’re seriously considering running for office?” Kuhner asked the baseball legend. “And Curt, if you did would it, it’s here in Massachusetts, you want to run here?”
“Yes, yes I do,” Schilling said.
“What are you thinking — state senator, state Rep.?” Kuhner interjected.
“I’ve thought about it and one of the things I would like to do is be one of the people responsible for getting Elizabeth Warren out of politics,” Schilling answered. “I think she’s a nightmare and I think that the left is holding her up as the second coming of Hillary Clinton, which Lord knows we don’t even need the first one.”
Schilling later said he would have to get the approval of his wife first, but one thing is for sure — the World Series winner may be just what conservatives need to knock off the far-left radical currently in power.
