On Thursday, former FBI Director James Comey was on the move — and at a very suspicious location.
Comey and his wife visited the New York Times in New York. Interestingly, the mainstream media didn’t say a word about it, even after their hundreds of stories detailing his every move and thought.
Comey, who was accompanied by his wife Patrice Failor, ignored the photographers as he marched his way through the front entrance of the building, towering over the crowds in a navy suit, in what seemed to be one of the warmest days of the month.
According to reports, Comey spent around three hours inside the building before coming out, hailing a cab. A spokesman for the NY Times claimed that Comey didn’t visit the paper’s newsroom. However, the NY Times does not occupy the whole building, but rather just 27 of the 52 floors, with other businesses sharing the building being the tech start-up Datadog and Dean and DeLuca.
Comey’s unexpected visit of the Times comes just a few weeks after it had been revealed that he was the source after President Trump suggested that he may be responsible for more leaks about his administration.
Comey himself confessed he was the source of a leak to the Times about a private meeting with Trump, before being fired in June.
