The results are in and records have been made.
Hillary Clinton is officially the first female presidential candidate in American history to have an infamous “faithless” elector — but there wasn’t just one, but five electors (four in Washington state and one in Hawaii) who went against the Democrat Party’s presidential pick.
In their desertion of Clinton, they caused her to set a 104-year-old record for the candidate with the most faithless electors.
Therefore, the Democrats can say she absolutely shattered the glass ceiling — and in more ways than one.
In other words, her political career is over.
President-Elect Donald Trump, on the other hand, sent out a joyous thank-you to all his fans on Twitter:
“We did it! Thank you to all of my great supporters, we just officially won the election (despite all of the distorted and inaccurate media).”
