Immediately after the Charlottesville riots, where white supremacists, neo-nazis, and Antifa clashed, President Donald Trump issued a strong rebuttal of “both sides” and called for political unity.
Instead of being met with agreement from both sides, Democrats — and some Republicans — blamed him for the Virginia chaos and his “insufficient” statement, saying he failed to “specifically condemn white supremacy.”
Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine was one of those individuals — and he paid the price for it.
Here’s what Kaine said in a Saturday tweet: “Charlottesville violence was fueled by one side: white supremacists spreading racism, intolerance & intimidation. Those are the facts.”
Then, legendary actor James Woods issued a direct response:
“So when your son was arrested and his coward’s mask was ripped off, was that not also for violence, you hypocrite loser?”

As it was reported, Kaine’s oldest son, Linwood “Woody” Kaine, was charged with a misdemeanor in Minnesota after participating in a counter-protest against a pro-President Trump rally at the state Capitol in March.
Prosecutors charged Kaine for “fleeing on foot, concealing identity in a public place, and obstructing legal process.”
