President Donald Trump is as patriotic as can be — and he’s got an unbelievable respect for men and women who serve in the military.
But sometimes, there are veterans who go above and beyond.
That’s why Trump cleared his schedule last minute to hold an impromptu meeting with retired United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills.
He is a quadruple amputee that assists veterans suffering from PTSD
In other words — he’s a hero.
Here are pictures of his visit to the White House, where he met with Trump, Vice President Pence, Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and Ivanka Trump:
Here’s what he said on Facebook shortly after the meeting:
“Just making America great again for our veterans! On a serious note, thank you Vice President Mike Pence for hosting me and our team at the The White House today. It was an honor to share our mission of hosting recalibrated warriors at the Travis Mills Veterans Retreat. And, President Donald J. Trump thank you for meeting with us impromptu as well.”
