Outspoken “provocateur” and conservative speaker Milo Yiannopoulos has come under fire after comments regarding age of consent laws and pederasty surfaced, in which he talked about “young boys” and “older men” having sexual relations.
These comments were discovered by a “Never Trump” coalition one day after Milo had been given a slot for a keynote speech at CPAC.
Through this, there is a double standard that needs to be addressed, which revolves completely around Lena Dunham — Hillary Clinton’s feminist mouthpiece.
In Dunham’s book Not That Type Of Girl, she casually writes about sexually abusing her infant sister. Here’s what one critic said:
Dunham writes of casually masturbating while in bed next to her younger sister, of bribing her with “three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds . . . anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying.” At one point, when her sister is a toddler, Lena Dunham pries open her vagina — “my curiosity got the best of me,” she offers, as though that were an explanation. “This was within the spectrum of things I did.”
After outrage by conservatives, she defended this story and attempted to justify it on Twitter.
“I told a story about being a weird 7 year old. I bet you have some too, old men, that I’d rather not hear. And yes, this is a rage spiral,” Dunham said.
And this is where the double standard arises. Instead of facing immense backlash from the right, left, or mainstream media, nothing happened at all.
The “Girls” star merely traveled around the country with Hillary Clinton and her campaign, speaking to voters and explaining why she thought Clinton would make a sound president.
Milo, on the other hand, has been booted from CPAC, had his massive book deal cancelled, and is coming very close to being let go from his current employer, Breitbart News — and that’s all due to the media outrage.
Where was the media outrage over Dunham’s comments? Why was she invited to campaign for Clinton? Why does she still have a role on a TV show?
The hypocrisy the American media is wholeheartedly repugnant.
