Just because failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has vanished from the political spectrum, doesn’t mean her electronic negligence gets to go away unaccounted for.
In fact, the scandal she dreads most is being revived.
The Washington Examiner reports:
“The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch goes back to federal court on Tuesday seeking emails and texts the FBI says they have discovered on a backup server, but the bureau also says it will take them two years to release the 35 documents they’ve located.
“The upshot of the hearing, however, will likely be less about whether the documents should be turned over, and instead be about whether the FBI can take two years to do it.”
In October, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump made her email scandal a key talking point, at one point saying he would hire on a “special prosecutor” to take Clinton down.
During another rally that month, after the FBI announced they were reopening the investigation, Trump said that “Hillary has nobody to blame but herself for her mounting legal troubles.” He later added, repeatedly, that “she is so guilty,” and said that “a vote for Hillary is vote a to surrender our government to public corruption, graft and cronyism.”
