The Pennsylvania results are in.
And President-Elect Donald Trump is the winner, beating Hillary Clinton by around 46,000 votes.
He was up by 70,000 votes a week ago, but the liberal-leaning city of Philadelphia had many uncounted votes at the time.
However, everything is officially set in stone.
Trump totaled 2,961,875 votes compared to Clinton’s 2,915,440.
A recount is still a fleeting possibility — but it would be completely and totally worthless. Why? Because the last time a recount was had in Pennsylvania — which was many years ago — the final result only changed by hundreds of votes.
Any recount effort would be a genuine waste of time and energy — and would simply give Donald Trump the pleasure of winning the state twice.
